Description

Making this one caused me way more mental trauma than I had initially planned for. This took me hours JUST to get that Arcanine right oh my god o_e
And then ON TOP OF THAT, photoshop crashed just as I finished that beaut of a Poliwrath that I made. I lost literally everything I had done up to the first layer of coloring i had done behind the line art. I KICKED FATE'S UGLY BUTT THOUGH, because as it had turned out, I was sending screen caps of the finished Pokémon as I had been working on them to a few of my friends. I was able to piece the picture back together as best as I could, although I do apologize for it being a little blurry in some areas.

Now onto the entries

Growlithe:
The Growlithe is a very rare Pokémon in the Fire-Type group. It's strength grows rapidly as it ages, and can breathe fires that can best larger Pokémon who are even in the same Type-Group. Though small, the Growlithe is very powerful, and should not be startled. If raised from infancy, like a normal dog, it makes a fitting companion for any human, and will protect whatever family it claims as its own. It reaches maturity at roughly 6 years, and if not evolved, will remain a Growlithe forever. If a fully mature Growlithe has puppies with another, its children will always remain Growlithe, and not be capable of evolving.

Arcanine:
In the wild, Growlithe tend to live near volcanic areas. In the habitat of wild Growlithe, there is usually a considerably large amount of naturally radioactive onyx-like rock, commonly referred to as "Firestone". Firestone's radioactivity ignites a special kind of growth hormone existent in some fire-type Pokémon, including Growlithe. If raised near Firestone, A growlith will, by the age of 6, grow into a roughly 7-foot beast known as an Arcanine. The Arcanine is a natural hunter, and often preys on mountain animals, such as goat, sheep and Tauros. The Arcanine is extremely rare, and very powerful. Its flames have been known to take down dragons and reduce forests to ash. It has been officially classified "Legendary", as of recently, and is extremely hard to evolve domestically. There have been some cases in which human trainers have raised Growlithe with amulets embedded with Firestone, and successfully evolved them. An Arcanine evolved from a domesticated Growlithe with be just as protective of its human companions as always, but will still be considered dangerous. Only those with Pokémon training licenses are permitted to own one.

Poliwhirl:
The Poliwhirl is an extremely large species of frog in the family of Water-Type Pokémon. The Poliwhirl's most noticable feature is the swirl-pattern on its pale belly. This pattern develops as it is still a Poliwag, and is completely individual. This pattern stays with the Poliwhirl its entire life, and is sometimes used to identify ones self out of a school. The Poliwhirl, like most Water-Type Pokémon, has hydrokinetic abilities. Most notably, however, is it's fondness of swallowing gargantuan amounts of water in its inflatable belly, and spray it at enemies.

Poliwrath:
In many areas, a naturally radioactive material found imbedded in lake crystals called "Waterstone" can cause a physical reaction in Water-Type pokemon. If a Poliwhirl is raised in a lake or pond with near Waterstone, their lifespan increases, as does their size and strength. The muscles of a growing poliwhirl will increase to enormous sizes, giving it excess strength, and the power to lead a herd, or attack foes.

Kadabra:
A member of the Psychic-Type group, the Kadabra is one of the most powerful and intelligent Pokemon known to live in the wild. A young Kadabra is called an "Abra", and spends a good majority of its day sleeping, and floating in mid-air. It is likely to assume that they are, in fact, astrally projecting themselves to better hone their psychic abilities. When they get older and larger, they very rarely levitate themselves. They do, however, have the ability to levitate other objects and use them as projectiles. Like all Psychic-Type Pokémon, the Kadabra lives a solitary life, and will never attack other creatures out of anger or frustration. Unlike most Pokémon, it very rarely forms any kind of alliance with a human. If an alliance should be formed, it is always out of friendship, and will never do anything that it does not consent to. Kadabras even understand the concept of exchanging goods for services, and will work for humans occasionally in exchange for food or shelter. Kadabras are commonly found working in circuses. A Kadabra is perfectly capable of fully understanding human speech, although, given the construction of its jaw, cannot repeat it.

Alakazam:
The Alakazam is known as a demi-titan. A Kadabra, spending its entire life practicing its psychic powers, will eventually suffer physical tolls. Years of intense mental strain will eventually cause parts of body to die while the brain continues to preform at full capacity. The first, is usually the tail, which falls off after the cells on the tailbone begin to die. Most of the hair follows, aside from its beard and whisker lines, and forearm/calf hair. regardless of what happens to the body, the Alakazam's brain powers are at their peak. Toward the end of their life, their brain can continue to function weeks after all of its organs have seized function. The rest of the body is moved entirely via psychic connections. Elderly Alakazams have been granted the nickname "zombies" due to this.
